    Your dog sprints down our turf-covered runway and launches after a toy into the pool. Audra coaches the approach, the toss and the takeoff — foot markers along the pool show every inch of progress.

Meet Audra

A trainer who lives for dogs

Audra is a professional dog trainer and the owner of Leaping Legends Dock Diving. The pool lives at her home in Bolivar, which is also the home of Absolute Dog Training, her obedience and behavioral modification business.

She has trained for AKC obedience competition since 2013, raises Belgian Malinois and spends her free time finding rivers for her own dogs to swim in.

Nope! Your dog doesn’t have to know what dock diving is to come swim. If they like the water, that’s good enough for us — and if they don’t, we’ll teach them. Nervous swimmers and puppies start with a swim lesson; confident swimmers can move on to coached dock diving.

We’re at 907 E 477th Road in Bolivar, Missouri 65613 — just north of Springfield, about 39 minutes up MO-13. Dogs and their people visit from all over Missouri, including Kansas City, Joplin, Branson, the Lake of the Ozarks, Columbia and St. Louis.

Everything is by appointment. Pick a service, date and time on our online booking calendar, or call or text Audra at (417) 840-9023. Every request goes straight to Audra’s phone and she confirms by text.

We’re open by appointment only. During swim season we’re typically open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. — you can watch the sunset while your dog swims — and on the hottest weekends we start as early as 7 a.m. Available times are always shown on the booking calendar.

Our pool is outdoors, so swimming and dock diving are seasonal and weather-dependent. Audra closes the pool for the colder months and reopens when it warms up. Dog training is available year-round.

Dock diving is a high-energy dog sport where a dog sprints down a dock and launches into a pool after a toy. Jumps are measured by distance — our pool even has foot markers along the side so you can see how far your dog flies.
